Blood clot fear?

Another day, another anxious thought leading me to over-react and search way too deep into things.

Of course I ended up finding information about blood clots, and horror stories of them afflicting teenagers around my age. (16)

Of the symptoms, even with my high anxiety I have experienced leg pain (it rarely shows now, though. and it only made me hobble a bit at the time. i'm heavily prone to muscle tension.) sharp chest pains in the middle, under my ribs, and on the sides (probably anxiety? unsure of blood clot pains.), and i'm not sure about shortness of breath. it is allergy season after all.

should i really go see a doctor about this? or is it really anxiety after all? i'm afraid to misdiagnose, as i know it's often thrown under the bus as just anxiety or some other syndrome which leads to an early death.

Have a examination but I think it will be anxiety, I had a blood clot fear my right leg was hurting so went to the out of hours doctor and he said if you had a blood clot the pain wouldn't come and go and your leg would be swollen. I later realised that I hadn't been driving long and was tensing my leg while driving lol it'll be nothing don't worry

Always go and get an exam to clear the thought at best.

my love please stop looking up symptons when you are anxious as it sounds that you could be every little thing your read will tell your mind that you have got it i had chest pain so my heart was playing up, my heart was missing beats again i thought i was having something serious, i read on the wall of our doctors toilets about itching  I was convinced I had cancer. one thing I have never done is gone on medical sites because i would give my self a heart attack after reading all of the diagnoses but I promise you if all medical tests are clear its anxiety like others on here the anxiety "invents" these conditions for us because anxiety causes so much fear luckily im settled on my meds and I can laugh about it now but its definately not funny when you are in the middle of it. stress and anxiety can cause a lot of problems but only if you let it. I know its hard at the time but it will get better

it is more common for older people to get blood clots in the brain or legs so I would not worry any more about it.
