Blood clots & Flooding After Stopped Norethisone

My gynae said I might have abnormal hormone disorder and have prescribed norethisone to stop massive blod clots and bleeding.Now I have stopped taking norethisone, after 2 days I started bleeding but not a lot. Then I stopped bleeding completely for about 5 days. Now 2 weeks after I stopped meds, bleeding came back with many blood clots and flooding for 2 days already. Can anyone let me know if this will pass and if it is normal? When I first bled, I became anemic. Took 2 months to feel better again. Gynae told me if meds doesn't solve the problem, I will have to go for D&C.Don't really want to go through this.
