Blood In Ejaculate and in Urine Post Ejaculation?

Hello All

About 9 years ago I was having sex with my partner and saw blood in my ejaculate. I immediately went to the bathroom and when I was peeing there was also chunks of blood coming from my penis.

Of course I freaked out , went to the hospital and then a urologist. I wasn't cancer and they treated me for a prostate infection after scoping me twice and it didn't solve the problem. After six months of limited sex it finally went away.

The other day it came back and my doctor once again wanted to treat me for a prostate infection. I said no.

With some online research and chats with friends in healthcare, it seemed as though I may have benign prostatic hyperplasia. After a visit to a new urologist, she determined that it is not BPH. I am going back on Friday to find out more and go through tests.

My question is this... Has anyone else had this happen? If so, what was the resolve? What did you learn? Any thought on what I can do?

Thanks for your help.

It happened to me before many times. The cause was bladder stone. If one is in the upper part of urethra, near your penis, it would cause bleeding during sex. Hank

Yes, bladder stones. Fairly simple surgery to remove them.

Bladder stones or maybe you have a wart like growth inside and during sex the friction causes it to cut or open
