I was diagnoses with DD four years ago. I have managed attacks with oral antibiotics and the advice of a medical nutritionist. I had knee surgery 3 weeks ago. I had my first flare up with blood stool last week. My question does the blood subside? I been on antibiotics for 9 days.

Mate, if you're having persistent blood in your poo that won't stop it's off to A&E(ER) me thinks. Antibiotics will stop that along with the pain. I'd get that sorted asap!
