Blood in urin

Have an enlarged prostate. Passed blood today . The first tim thats ever happened. Now i'm scared to death of kidney cancer. Don't know if an enlared prostate causes blood. Have very bad sleepung problems for about 8 months now. Have had Ct scans , exrays , blood tests , colonoscopy , endoscopy over the past year. All that was found was a very small kidney stone 2 months ago. I have no pain in my sides or lower back. Wouldn't you think something would have shown up in all those tests ? My wife passed away 3 years ago. She had kidney cancer but no pain. Her kidney was removed but the cancer seeded in her blood before the surgery. That's why I'm so worried over this. Will make an appointment with my urologist tomorrow. But this has really got me down today. Has anyone gone through this ? Just airing my worries I guess.

    Dear Jess,

                      Had similar experiences, just ensure you get this thoroughly checked out. Above that, do try not to panic. Had the same symptoms in my teens the verdict too much tonic water and quinine drinks.
