Blood in urine during menstruation

Hi,

I have recently been diagnosed with Adenomyosis, but for the last 4-5 periods every single time i go for a wee it comes out bright red. Even after showering. Its only when I'm on my period!

Ive always had a little blood but this is turning my wee dark red every single time. I had a pelvic ultrasound and they said my bladder was normal!?

Has anyone else had this?

I was going to suggest that you ask over in the adenomyosis group, but i couldn't find one. Unfortunately, in the 4 years i've been in this forum i don't recall more than a handful of mentions of the condition. I hope someone pops up.

Did the same person who diagnosed the adeno perform the bladder ultrasound? If not, then my suggestion is that you take this question to that person because they know more about your condition & all that comes with it.

Keep bugging your Gp you need to see someone it's not right.

Iam with a endometriosis specialist team who diagnosed both. Maybe they could help you, if you have one near you.
