Blood in urine, it comes and goes

Hi, in Ric

19 yrs. old and  i am a seafarer

I had a blood in my urine last 5 days ago, i immediately drink a lot of water and, after a few hours it disappeared. And it also happend last 3 months. At first i thought it was just from vigorous work, plus i  don't drink plenty of water, and it was painless.

I don't know if i should go to the doctor or wait if it happens again or wait if something else happens.

I had my latest medical exam some 6 months ago (it includes urinalysis, blood test, phisycal exam etc) and they found nothing.

Right now im leaning on the possibility that it is nothing serious. Im trying to be positive right now and not freak out, but based on what i googled im afraid it might  be a tumor or a bladder cancer (please let it not be cancer).

I really need your opinion and advise on this. Any reply (good news or bad news) will be appriciated and will be helpful.

Thank you.

I am having exactly the same issue and believe I have made a post on this if you want to try and find it.  In short visit your doc. I had the same and currently awaiting my results. I am the opposite I went to the doc and said it was an annoyance as I went out for a run and had to keep nipping into bushes and she said let's get you into the hospital and I said I haven't got time at the moment and she said they need to check for cancer.  I was in hospital a week later.  I assume everything is nothing.  I cut myself shaving once and everyone said you should go to the hospital and I laughed it off and 3 months later I had to have an operation.  I suppose the right answer is to be somewhere inbetween.
