Blood on stool for almost 6 months now on and off.. is this normal?

Hi All, Hoping for some insight and help..

I am a 30 year old Female. Starting in July I began seeing blood in my stool. Naturally I assumed this was a hemorrhoid since I have a history of constipation and my stool is never" soft". I also have IBS and I believe the blood started when I had a tough bowl movement due to constipationback in July.. Since then I have seen the blood on top of my stool pretty much with every bowl movement.. (some days it wasnt visible but I would say 85 percent of the time i would see a streak or so of blood)- but in the last 3 weeks ive noticied an increase of pale white mucas mixed with blood in the stool which is starting to concern me. I do not feel any pain when I go, and the blood is a red color (- which I know red blood is supposed to indicate its coming from the lower part of the colon/rectum) - I also have no stomach pains etc

My first instinct is this could be an internal hemorrhoid that is getting aggravated with every bowl movement I make and possibly 3 weeks ago I was backed up more then normal and aggravated the issue even more when I went to the bathroom.. but what I dont understand the increase in white mucas on the stool?

My question is has anyone experienced similar symptoms or had an internal hemorrhoid that lasted this long? Technically its been 6 months since this has been happening and ive seen blood on top of the stool & also some blood when I wipe.

I know its silly but i'm really scared to go to a DR, I feel embarrassed about this issue and have been trying to avoid seeing one hoping this would go away on its own by uping my water intake and taking fiber etc.. I would really appreciate some insight on this or if anyone has experienced anything similar or if this is something I really should be concerned about and go see a doctor?
