Blood Pressure issues anyone?

I am medicated for high blood pressure. About 8 weeks ago I started a gym challenge and during that time my BP was quite low. Now my BP is very high and I have had heart palpitations . I'm not sure if this is hormone related or not? I've had a CT scan on my heart which showed all was normal. Has anyone else had periods where BP fluctuates even when medicated. I have no cheat pain whatsoever .

Yep.. I've been on bp and heart meds most of my life bc of bad valves which causes Afib, tachycardia and bradycardia. But since hitting peri about 8 yrs ago and now post menopause I'm all over the place when it was once very controlled. I'm 53 and pretty sure the roller coaster is never gonna end 😑

I'm sorry I missed your reply. It is very stressful isn't it. I'm thinking I should stop taking my BP so much as it's making me quite anxious. I hope 2022 is a good year for you.

I started a regime of Hawthorn Berry extract and Motherwort about a week ago and I was having palpitations all day, now I'm down to a few a day. My anxiety is also getting better. My husband also started the regime because he has episodes of atrial tachycardia that can last for hours, so far he hasn't had any episodes since starting. I'm praying it will be the answer for him because his episodes because they are debilitating for him. I'm not saying this will be the answer for you, but it has helped is so far. I take both extracts 2 times a day, and a Magnesium supplement.
