Blood Test having to retake help me

I had some bloods taken last week on tuesday and on the Friday  the surgery phoned me up and told me they need to be re taking somthing about 1 of the tubes wasn't able to be tested or somthing but the other 2 was fine. I have to go and collect a blood test sheet from the surgery Just wodnerd if this is common or do you think they want to recheck somthing or found somthin and are testing for somthing else . Is it common for blood reaults to have to be retaken and to get a phone call asking to go and collect a blood sheet to go and have them redone

    I wouldn't worry to much, it as happened to me, nothing came of it. It seems to be more frequent than you think.

      Hi Kev thank you for your respsonce Just phoned them up and they told me that the renel blood test couldnt be tested due to somthing going wrong with bloods when they was taken or at the lab !

     guys it says On ace -prev specimen of 1st sep was haemolysed

      haemolysed means that blood sample sat too long or was trasported to rough and it caused that red blood cells in the tube to burst.
