Hi everyone im new to the forum. Im 22 years old and I was/am overweight for my size. Im 5'11 and I weigh roughly 215 but ive turned my life around. I now eat better and go the the gym on a daily basis and so far I have lost 6 pounds in 1.5 months. I decided to get some blood test done to make sure everything was good with my body and I had 2 flags. I have looked up the 2 and I cant understand whats the problem. I hope its nothing serious...

AST (SGOT) results may be affected by medicines, herbs, or supplements.
Best thing is to speak to your GP as they are in the best position to interpret these results and put your mind at rest.

The two tests mentioned are to do with liver function which is why they can be affected by so many things.
Your GP should have been sent the results and would have asked to see you if there was anything to worry about.
