Blood tests

Hi everyone 😊

This may be a daft question but I can't help wondering if anyone else has jad blood test results where your white blood cell count was elevated? It seems mine are always out??!! It's not crazy high but high enough the doctor calls me in,

Is there any links between wbc and Fibro?

Hope everyone has a great day, thoughts n hugs to all xx

Hello everyone thanks for all of your replies!

I agree I think out bodies must no there's something going on inside, there are 5 different types of white cells that all indicate where or what the problem maybe, all inflammatory markers! Well seeing as I am in pain all over I figure that could be why then maybe?

Hope you all have a great day

Just an after thought- but why would we be fighting an infection if our wbc is either high or low?

    Does that make sense?

Body bone marrow produces our cells, so I guess it's something to do with either over and under production caused by ???   Volcanic Flaring ahahahaaaaa   joshing ya..

OR body produces enmass to fight an infection and then depleats when exhausted or body cannot produce more in a hurry to fight what ever infection..???

Hi deb it's amazing how our body's work! But I got ya, that makes sense! could the infection be any infection or an infection after infection? I have had tests done over months so surely it wouldn't be the SAME infection all that time would it? Also I don't seem Ill like you probably would if you had an infection going on?

Hi jane,  yes it is possible to live with infection somewhere in your body and not know it.  We are also able to have cysts in  our bodies and  not know.  I lived with infection that after years began to grow like flesh...yukky to think about it llike that ...  but it's true.  Only found out when my sinus got so bad over the past 3 years prior to extensive surgery.  Apparently I had mentally/physically adjusted to the slow progression of the infection etc, that I didn't notice it.  However, if I got sick from any other type of illness my system/immune system was already depleated from constantly battling and pushing against they resident infection, which I was told should have knocked me down and kept me down years ago...  I shocked the Surgeon.  I have to say thought that the last 3 years were hell.  The last 3 weeks before I insisted on seeing an independent specialist were a nightmare and I was in absolute pain.  I wanted to crawl under a bush and not come out till went away or I passed away!   I was operated on all with the week.  Because I had been left unchecked for so long 'years'...the infection had grown so much and was resembling flesh on the CT scout film.

It had been 32yrs since the infection took hold and until I had surgery at 39yrs.

      Hi Deb

Well I never knew that!! I can see that if an infection is so slow In Progressing, u wouldn't notice it! It's almost scary! I am sorry to hear how long you had to wait before it was found! Did the surgery help?

Hi Kaz... yes I've been really tired and really sore of late..  hardly any sleep this week...grrrr    I'm trying to get a little painting finished for the Art Society show, plus deal with alot of stuff round these photo's I took and the one with unidentified objects in it...  apparently they have all gone to America and to Chile for further analysis.... exciting.  Plus there had been a witness sighting of an unusual object in the sky that day..and they live about 20minutes away from where I was taking my photo's... interesting wee mystery..

I am interested in what you are saying about having Fibromyalgia and having had surgery. I too have just had key hole shoulder surgery three weeks ago and have had Fibromyalgia for 8 years. I think it does make it harder for us to feel better physically and mentally. It certainly has not helped having to battle with the DWP who stopped my benefits ESA two days after surgery having had a ridiculous ATOS assessment a month before!!!!!! I have been reinstated after talking to 30 different people who misinformed me all along!!

OH POLL..!!!!   My goodness gracious!!   People can be arogant, head in the sky tw*ts...  The damage they can cause other people, the stress they cause....ggrrrr ARrrrrH.....    And what really gets my anti, is the fact you will hardly ever get an apology!   If you do though, it's a non sincere lipservice, pretentious one.

Oh Poll that is absolutely disgraceful!   You would have been in an  exacerbated nightmare pain zone and then EXTRA with all that stress!

Gosh I feel for you..  I hope you don't have to EVER be made or pushed into that sort of experience again...'ever'...!!

HUGs YOU....   I so hope your healing well without issue..  xx

Hi Kaz...  bed and finally got to sleep about 12.30am.. grrrr   but is an improvement to say the least!  Only to be woken up with banging and crashing etc happening next door... hohummmm   Price one pays for living next to a commercial business...  :-(   Although they are technically not meant to be up and working round with forklifts etc at 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 in the small hours!!!  grrrrr  Will be laying a complaint, 'again'..  if they continue.  I have two neighbours up in front of me, one right next door adjoined and another up the top of the property in a large two story house.  She is a Nurse and works shift work.  Not fair on her sometimes to be woken up.  Noise travels upwards.. to her bedroom.

hmm so yup, I'm up now wide awake, with eyes wide shut.  Made a cuppa and now in bed (and with cracker biscuits)  naughty me.

They woke me at 4.48am..  it's now 5.37am and they have stopped.  grrrr    Probably gone into the office now for a cuppa or paper work..hmmmm   Well at least I managed to get 4 hours sleep at least, and thats better than the previous few days over the last fortnight!

Lack of sleep certainly ups the body's pain zone from head to toe.  Make your body feel so much more delicate, yet so dam heavy..!!!! with the stiffness worse to.  ho blimin hummm

HI deb97936 You have my every sympathy on the sleep factor. living next door to a commercial buissness I dont enevy you hun. I think you should put a complaint in.Surely they shouldnt be working at those hours of the morning when they know people will be in bed? Im lacking in sleep at the min Im like a zombie walking around the place. Im hopeing preying I can get some sleep tonight. I can live in hope and prey that I do.It doesnt help our pain levels lack of sleep. hope you manage to get some good nights sleep soon. I also feel sorry for your neighbour no fun for her either with the noise, especially when on shift work. you take care gentle hugs xx
