Blood Vessels on penis still haven't healed in over 5 months

I have broken blood vessels on my penis corona from dry masturbating with a pillow. They still haven't healed in over 5 months and they actually hurt from time to time. Is this permanent or will it ever heal? Its almost as if the corona of my penis is red permanently from it rubbing due to friction. Super depressed over this.

I don't know if those marks will go away, but they don't look too bad to be honest, at least visually.  I've never heard of a man masturbating with a pillow though.  Are you still doing that?  Many circumcised men use lube (as well as their hand), or you could try something like a Fleshlight.

It was something I started doing and I never thought-for some reason-that it would damage my penis. I stopped doing it but my skin on my penis is loose and now I have broken blood vessels on my corona. I’m really depressed now and it’s affecting my life. Wish I could just go back in time.

It doesn't look a big deal to me.  All dicks are different, and yours doesn't look particularly unusual.  If it's bothering you that much though, then see a doctor, though they may not be able to help.

You could either see your GP, or if you're in the UK, you could go to a genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic - google "GUM clinic near me" for details.

If you do see a doctor, then if you could update this thread and tell us what the doctors say, it would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help. It is a big deal to me because the skin has been stretched and it sticks to my nuts. I’ve seen a urologist and they said it was fine but it drives me crazy. The blood vessels hurt from time to time. Sucks thinking about your messed up penis all day because of something yourself caused. Once again, thanks!

      Hey John,

Nope, I have quit messing with my genitals for a while and the broken blood vessels still cause pain when my penis rubs against my boxers the wrong way. My skin is also still loose and will always be because of what I did. The inner Foreskin feels thin and soft but also gets tacky and sticky when I sweat. Has caused me to become depressed and I rarely have a happy day. I hope your asking to be curious as to what a solution is and not because this happened to you too. Wouldn’t wish this upon my worst enemy.

Hi Justin, long shot that you see this but ive had this problem for the last 3 years. Did you ever find a permenant solution? I am only 18 and fear i also ruined my life because of it. I tried V-Beam laser treamtment for dilated blood vessels typically on the face but that only makes them clear for 3 days before returning. Please help.

Hey florin. Im dealing with same issue. Got some broken blood vessels/redness on glans. How did you get this problem? And have you found any solution/treatment? Did the V-beam laser treatment help in any way? I'm considering getting some laser treatment if possible, but need to do some more research. I've had this problem for over 2 years now.

Hi mikael, it began when I was being quite un heygenic, I would masterbate often and vigorously to be honest. I recently saw a dermatologist in San Fransisco who perscribed me aquaphor ointment (Hydrocortisone Ointment USP 2.5%) he told me every doctor I have visited in the past 3 years has been mis diagnosing me, and told me this redness or balanitis is due to friction. I started using this a couple days ago and one side has nearly cleared up, which is the most results I have ever seen. The larger patch of it I have on the right side is still there but I belive thats because that side showed up before the other, I think that side will too start clearing up with a little more time than the other. I hope that this is the case for you and it is just friction because if it is and this ointment has worked for me after having this for 4 years It might work for you. If you decide to give this a shot I apply the ointment before bed and try my best to sleep on my back, if not that then on my side. If this works for you pls post back as you will help more people than you could imagine.

Thank you for your answer. My issue is not friction I think. Like it's not on the surface level. It's under the glans skin, mucosa I think what it is called. It happened when i squeezed (jelqed) my penis too much and something popped in glans area (probably blood vessels) and now the glans is constantly red and have been for over 2 years. Glans colour changes from time to time to red to pale and vice versa. Very stupid of me messing with my penis.

Just couple more questions. What area of penis you have/had the friction? Like in penis glans or shaft area etc.? Also how did you get laser treatment for penis? Just curious what clinic that was and did you have to ask for special treatment or did doctor suggest for this? Because like you said V-beam laser treatment is typically for face.

Thank you again and please keep us updated how's your treatment is working and if your penis starting to look normal again. Hopefully so.

I try to make my own post about my issue when i have time. I think laser treatment might work for me if the blood vessel damage is internal. We'll see. Also have to consult other doctors.

Hey Justin. Could you give us an update if you have found any treatment/solution to the problem? And has this problem caused other health issues? Just wondering if you're still even alive?
