Hi I have recently received a letter from my rheumatoid specialist asking for my dr for regular bloods as ive recently been diagnosed with Thrombocytopenia and intermittent neutropenia all I know about this is that iv had a few low white cells count can anyone explain further not really understanding this thanks

    These issues can be common among individuals with autoimmune disorders. Have you been diagnosed with Sjogrens or other disorder? Each patient is different so you should make a list of your questions and discuss with your physician. He or she will be the only one able to explain your clinical findings and implications for future care. I know this has to be very scary. On the bright side I have suffered in the past from similar low counts and I am quite normal now with my levels. Take Care

      Hi yes I've been Diagnosed with Sjogens and it seems I'm showing signs for Addisons disease booked for investigation next Tues so will speak to someone then thanks anyway..

      Good luck with your evaluations. I take fludrocortison daily for a type of salt wastng/Addisons. Let me know how it goes. We may be able to compareĀ  notes. Any issues with your blood pressure?

    Sorry for the typos eek, I meant fludrocortisone and salt wasting. Yikes.

      yes I will do ...my blood pressure is very low but as far as I can remember it's always been low..

      My low bp lead to my diagnosis and has remained my biggest challenge. As long as you are not dizzy or fainting you are probabaly fine with your levels. The doctor will tell you.
