Bloodshot eyes for around 8 years?

Hii,

I'm 25 years old and for as long as i can remember about 16 years of age when i was in school, my eyes have been bloodshot. I currently have eye lash extentions on (no, these didnt cause it because it started years before I got them) although probably do not help.

They go extremely bloodshot in certain conditions such as being too warm, in wind, in bright lights etc.

I was using oprex bloodshot eye drops (over the counter) they work but are only masking the redness for a short time, maybe a few hours

I visited the eye hospital almost a year ago where they gave me 2 different lots of eye drops one to use for 8 weeks and one to use for 12 weeks i went back to my follow up appointment where the told me to continue using the eye drops they prescribed for 12 week for 12 more weeks until my next appointment, although I use them an hour before bed they are stinging my eyes more and more each day. He said it may be conjuctivitis but can I have it for almost 10 years? I was also prescribed dry eye drops to use twice a day. When the redness is not in both eyes, one of my eyes is permanently red like there are burst blood vessels? The doctors never mention this when I go to my appointment. picture attached

I need to know if anything else can be suggested or help me as I am really insecure about this and recently getting more sore eyes, but dont want to stop the eye drops because the doctor has told me to use them for 3 more months. I do wear my glasses when watching TV, reading and using phone most of the time and do not wear contact lenses.
