Bloody hemorrhoids

Posted , 2 users are following.

pretty nervous. I'm pretty sure I have internal hemorrhoids that stick out during bowel movements. I get a lot of blood, not just a couple drops. gotta stand up and pinch off for 10 mins to get it to clot up. I just told my wife and shes worried. thinking the worst. it's never mixed into stool. always at the end.

anyone else have this? I feel alone. freaked out a bit. gonna go get checked but it's embarrassing. going for my wife. she's annoyed I waited to tell her.

to give background, ive felt like ive been having sometjing sticking out for many years. normally, nothing would bleed unless I was straining a lot and then it would just be a little blood. very little.

lately it's a lot more blood. its like I broke something just inside and sprung a leak lol.

I'm 45, out of shape. 313lbs 6'3, but working on it with fasting and ketogenic dieting.

10 years ago I started to feel something stick out a little. slowly it progressed over the years. I thought it was rectal prolapse but now I don't think so. when I'm wiping it feels like bumps all around the anus. but now it's a lot more blood. it stops once whatever sticking out goes back in. red blood, not mixed in with stool. I think I just rupture internal hemorrhoids when I go to the bathroom lately. I'm not very worried it's something more serious, but I'm getting tired of dealing with it alone. and I'm embarrassed to go to the doc

I agree, it can be embarrassing but by the sound of it you need to see a specialist sooner rather than later.

The longer you put it off the worse it will become, hence bigger surgery, longer recovery etc...

Yep, it sound like you've got Hems.

See your GP, and get a referral to see a Colorectal surgeon.

If you elect for surgery ensure they tell you just how long and painful recovery can be.
