Blue light filtering versus clear IOLs

My preference for monofocals is the Clareon plateform. I'm currently deciding between the warmer blue light filtering (yellow tint) IOLs versus the cooler clear IOLs. I'm wondering which is better and if there is a significant difference. I'd love to hear your experiences or opinions!

The choice is quite simple. If you want a colour balance similar to a young person with natural lenses you should choose the blue light filtering option. It is designed to restore natural vision. If you want a cooler than natural colour balance then you would choose the clear lens option.
.
If you have cataracts now either choice will give you vision that is likely to be much cooler than what you have now. I suspect you could not tell the difference between the two lenses unless you had one of each in your eyes. Both of the lenses I have (1 Clareon, 1 AcrySof) are the blue light filtering versions. It is claimed that the blue light filtering gives better contrast sensitivity in dimmer light. It is said that the blue light filtering reduces chromatic aberration. I can't comment on that as both of my lenses are the same.

I have a clear IOL in one eye and my 54 year old lens I was born with in the other. The unoperated eye is blurry of course but as far as colour goes, I'm hard pressed to notice much difference. An I'm a designer by trade.
