He keeps mentioning the feeling nothing, not happy, not sad almost like hes got no emotions

Im just wondering if this will improve? He says hed rather not be on them and feel something

I dont know what to say to help him

Hi Kaye I understand your husband's frustration with this medication. I took it for 4 months. I had to stop taking it due to the horrible side effects I had. I have been completely off this medication for 1 month now and wake up in excruciating pain in every joint in my body. My hands clenched like someone in their late 80's. I am on 2400mg of Ibuprofen and 20mg of Valium a day now and still wake up in pain. I would suggest he talk to his dr. I did and had tests run on me and everything came back normal with the exception of the inflammed joints. My doctor put it down to withdrawl symptoms and a possible side effect of this medication Setraline aka Zoloft. So happy to be off it. I was told this pain & inflammation could last another month or two. These medications stay in our body long after we quit taking them. Praying he never has to experience the pain I have. Again, I believe this medication was poison at least in my case. I was just like him in the beginning numb. Not happy, not sad, not anything and then came the side effects. Good luck to you! There are other antidepressants that don't cause these kind of side effects.

Did the not feeling anything feeling go away? I think he could handle some other side effects its the not feeling anything that is causing us issues.
