Blurred Or Lost Vision From Blepharitis?

Anyone here got blurriness from blepharitis? Im really worried right now because few days ago i had pain in my eye so i took off my contacts.
I then used wetones as i been using it since earlier this year but it seems like both of my eyes, i have lot of broken skin inflamed around my eyes. This isn't the crust on the eyelids like i had back when i started having blepharitis.
The thing is my lower eyelids are very red both left and right. Also my eyes are bit red and the area around each each is very sore.
The thing that worries me the worst is few days ago when im using my computer... note i use the computer all day and night...i noticed i could not see letters/numbers on my screen. Everything is extremely blurry... i then opened the tv and noticed this as well.
Then yesterday i used computer in the afternoon it was okay for a bit but then i could not see any letters/numbers at all on my computer. Im wearing glasses and everything is REALLY BLURRY that basically its like me looking at a computer screen where im not even wearing any glasses at all. Its been like this for a few days already. Should i be really worried?
Basically if im on the computer for a bit, i basically cant see words/letters at all and i never ever had this problem ever. Is this temporary? I had thought it was just 1 day or so but its been a few days like this already. Also i can open my eyes so why is this happening? I know back then when i first got blepharitis and it was really bad, i couldnt open my eyes much b/c of the pain and thus i couldnt even use computer much b/c of the pain opening my eyes.
Does anyone have any advice on this? Few days ago i also put some manuka honey directly on my lower eyelids both left and right for few hours then washed it off. I did this b/c i read about manuka honey and b/c since i had the blurrieness the day before, i decided to try the honey. I think some honey could have gotten in my eye but thing is i already had the blurriness before this the day before.
Does anyone know what i can do now? Im still using the wet one wipes but im very worried why i have this blurred vision when on the computer.

Hi Drewlizard,
I would see an eye doctor JUST to be sure all is well with your sight. It's something I wouldn't want to skimp on by watching & waiting .
My solution was allergy testing then allergy shots. Doc told me to get rid of feathered quilt and pillows. Now I vacuum more frequently.
It looks like everyone here finds what works for them. Wet ones helped me a lot but when I flared up it was 3-4 days to return to normal and then see a fine layer of skin peel off.
I just went to eye doc for annual and she said I still have blepharitis but it's mild.
Best of luck

My Bleph is caused by having worn contact lenses which damage the inside of the eye lids and damage the glands which produce the lubrication.
I treat with Hyco Sans eye drops. Regular compresses to soften the blocked glands. On a recent Intense Pulsed Light treatment the optician managed to unblock many of the glands and hard white stuff came out, which is supposed to be soft and oily.
See a good opthalmologist as soon as you can Here in the UK we have free eye treatment at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Hi drewizard. I know this is a really old thread but hoping you're still around! I got diagnosed with blepharitis 12 months ago & it started with blurred vision that lasted 6 weeks initially. My sight came back for a few months then the blurred vision came back for 2 months. This has happened about 6 times since & this most recent time, has lasted nearly 3 months.
Did your eyesight come back? You're the only person I've ever come accross that has had blurred vision like me.
Hope to hear from you.

I have the same condition.
My eye doctor said there's some redness in my eyes and that may be causing worsened vision.
My doctor says my blepharitis is not that bad but it bad.
Watery, uncomfortableness, worsened vision, dry, can't read anything comfortably anymore....I have those all.
Wish there was some kind of solution.

Hey, were you able to get anywhere with this? I'm dealing with similar issue for a year now...
At some point it got me so stressed out that I had cat scan done, Brain MRI (vision jumping around and other things scared me), I started allergy medication for my dust mites allergies as those might be contributing and also oral medication for rosacea (another common cause of blepharitis) but it has been a year since all of this started and I only have it slightly under control... My vision is still getting worse and I am running out of options on what I should do....
