Blurred Vision

Does anyone else here suffer from intermittent blurred vision? If so, has it been connected to CS? For the past six years, I have been attending an eye clinic with this problem. Late last year, they decided it was connected with CS which they claimed could cause certain vascular changes, particularly as the blurriness seems worse when my neck pain is greater. I was referred to a neurologist who told me that he knew of no reason to connect neck pain with eyesight. I find this astonishing as I have found three published articles which specifically mention this. Perhaps fortunately, the neurologist has put his opinion in writing. I would be interested to know if anyone else suffers blurred vision and how it has been dealt with.

Thanks for replying, shell19. Let me know what happens when you next see your doctor. I will ask about this topic (again) when visiting the Pain Clinic on Monday.

    Hi there,

It is interesting what you say about blurred eyesight. I have had CS since 2001 and I do occasionally get blurred sight for no apparent reason, but only for short periods of time, ranging between a few seconds to about a minute.

Certainly if your have problems at C1 in your neck this can bring on blurred vision as it is this area of nerves that control your vision.

    All the best.
