hello amanda.  very normal!  likewise, it varies for me in intensity on any given day.  i notice it more with digital clocks ie microwave/oven/alarm clocks.  the mouse i use with my computer is pretty lit as well and it's almost as if i have double vision when looking at the lights.  many days i don't notice it at all.  i suffer from GAD and this has been a symptom for about 2 yrs now.  hope this helps.

Hello there sometimes it depends on the type of medication you're taking side effects for instance hydroxyzine some are very heavy on dizziness and blurred vision so you should suggest it to your doctor

I have the same problem lately and am surprised by Italia06's reply.  I too have just had my eyes checked just recently for the blurring and am told I am just fine, although I am having occular migraines which can cause jagged vision temporarily in my left eye!  It goes away, but I wonder if it is an anxiety issue!!  I have been extremely anxious and had multiple panic attacks lately.  About three months or so.

i've have more acute episodes in my mid 20s...was especially exaggerated at night.  lights would blur and intensity would be extreme.  this recent stretch does coincide with my anxiety levels.  i don't medicate at all as it appears the focus is CBT with GAD. there's a few other channels on youtube of individuals speaking about GAD and the constant state of hyperstimulation and blurry vision.

Yes anxiety can affect any nerve in the body including the ones related to the eyes. I have had also had theblurred vision  on and off but it's perfectly normal with anxiety.

if you learn to manage your anxiety, it will improve as Mine did, because then the nerves would calm down.

Thank you !! This is my first bout with anxiety in 29 years...the hard part is separating anxiety from health issues 😣

what really has helped me calm down regarding anxiety and health issues is listening to excellent YouTube meditations for anxiety. A lot of them teach you how to separate negative thinking from yourself. One I really  like is called "training your mind  and body to relax, sleep, relieving anxiety "

so many to choose from! I listen to these a couple times a day and my symptoms either go away or greatly diminish. I feel like I have better control over my anxiety now .

check them out, I think they could really help you. 👍
