Blurred vision in one eye

i recently noticed that i can read text or see objects clearly with my left eye. i can't even read text from 2 metres away. Its fine when i use my both eyes though. What could be it?

    I can't say for sure that this is normal or not, but I will tell you what I heard from my ophthalmologist.

    According to my doctor, it is normal to have a small difference in the ability to see at a distance from one eye to the other.

    However, it is important that you have a check-up at the ophthalmologist to find out the degree of visual acuity deficit that you have.

    In fact, it is quite common that in cases of eye problems such as myopia and astigmatism, one eye is more affected than the other.

      Thanks for the reply. I'll surely pay a visit to an ophthalmologist. The vision difference in my left and right eye is not little, however. It's quite a lot. In fact i can't even read things a metre or so away from me when i cover my right eye
