hi everyone. going on 14 months with this virus. any one experience blurry vision? sometimes its SO blurry!! and other times its fine. (i wear contacts and update the script often). also white tongue? no matter how much i scrub or brush it always comes back. anyone have this as well? thanks

what kind of vision problem did you have? how long it last,was it all the time?

Ebv makes your eyelids swell sonthis could be part of it. I also have blurry vision at times....especially after reading or work on the computer. It just takes time. All will heal soon think positive and rest when you can

thank you for your message...i am confused brcause it is for me all the time,i eear glasses but only one morning they didnt fit me well,i went to oftamologist he said it si fine,neurologist also..but my vision is like I am wearing someones glasses. terrible

Yes, I've also been experience blurry vision. It's strange, as my other symptoms weren't so bad. Defiantly had the swollen spleen and some fatigue.
My blurry vision is constant and in both eyes. My doctor said this was not a symptom of EBV, Can't find much on the internet about it either. Strange.

I hope you got it sorted out. Your doctor is wrong - I had the same thing in 2021 and saw my optometrist who then sent me to a dry eye specialist. I was diagnosed with Keratitis which is an autoimmune response (caused by EBV). I am now on a couse of eyedrops specific for those who have Keratitis due to EBV.
Also stop wearing contacts if you have any symptoms - you'll do permament eye damage. I wore contacts for years but due to this can no longer wear them.

i had a white tongue fir about 2 years ive recently changed my diet to raw vegan and its gone. i feel alot cleaner. Symptom wise im still suffering but every week i see little improvements. My right eye is completely blurry and hasnt shown signs of improvement yet

Hello All, I was diagnosed with mono at the beginning of this year and stumbled upon this thread which has already helped me tremendously. I am having some symptoms that are causing me great health anxiety but it seems like most are normal. I cant seem to sleep I feel like im in between sleep and awake.i also dont dont seem to have my balance I feel like theres pressure in my eyes and my eyes feel like theyre moving slow. when i close my eyey i see floaters when trying to sleep. It is hard to read and watch my phone/TV because of it. I also have derealization very bad and am very emotional ive been so worried about dying. My mouth has been extremely sensitive to burns and acidic things since i got it not sure if all these are associated with mono but just looking for some reassurance. Thanks
