Blurry vision even after seeing an eye doctor

Hi there, I'm 28 years old, and I've never had problems with my vision. About 9 months ago or so I noticed I had some blurriness on my right eye whenever I looked at things from a distance, and that I would see more light surrounding bright things or lights (such as subtitles, luminous signs, etc). My grandmother had glaucoma, so I was terrified I might have something like that. I went to the eye doctor a month ago, he checked me and he said I only had a -0.25 myopia on my right eye, but nothing on my left. He said I should not be concerned about it and that I didn't need glasses yet. I felt reassured, but lately I feel my eyesight has gotten worse. My right eye feels more blurred, especially when I spend long hours working on small things (I'm a designer so I spend ages behind a screen, or drawing small things) it also starts watering a lot, and I have a huge urge to rub it. I keep closing one eye at the time to check if my right eye is getting worse or not.. I'm afraid I may have something more serious, or that I'm going blind.

I don't know what to do

Go to a different eye doctor...an optician who can give you some glasses to help you with the work you do and re assess your eyes..

I suspect its the long hours at a screen doing detailed work that is making your eyes tired. Try to lessen the hours.....get a break after each hour and walk away from the screen
