Body Aches....menopause

Is anyone else experiencing bad body aches and joint ache during this stage in life. I am soooooo miserable. Is this normal?

    Hi , you are not alone , my body aches so bad everyday , my hips back are awful , along with so any other symptoms !!! anxiety , high bp , lack of libido , doom and gloom thoughts etc etc xx

    yes for about 6 months started wrists/elbows, recently though my knees & lower back feel like they are stinging/burning does anyone else get this feeling? my health anxiety is off the scale. im 46 & hobbling around like im 100!

    Yes unfortunately it is common. Not just general body aches but sometimes for me the pain is more specific - my old sciatica makes a regular appearance, pain in wrists and thumb (I should probably attribute it to my computer work ), pain in left breast / armpit that shoots the anxiety thru the roof...you name it, I have it or had it.

    Been having all these for around 5 years now. Come Jan end, I am hoping to finally cross the threshold to menopause,. But don't know what new gifts that will bring with it.

    Am 53 and everything started in my mid 40's...around when I was 46-47. Getting old never bothered me till the hellish peri symptoms started appearing with a vengeance!

    Hang in there... I think we will see the other side with a pain-free life.

    I am experience neck ache and tension every morning.

    Shoulder pain that is chronic.

    Strange pains that move from place to place. Not joint pains but weird body pain.

    It is horrible.
