Body not recovering after 6 momths, chest pain.

Hello,

I am 31 years old, I'm writing this mainly because my condition hasn't improved the last 6 months I've been with this problem.

So 6 months ago I was smoking a E-Cigarette the whole day without being used to it, it was nicotine free and I thought it wouldn't bring much harm, after about 5-6 hours of smoking it my lip started feeling numb, I was stupid enough to continue for about 1 hour, I went to bed after this. The day after when I wake up I notice that when I take a deep breath my body kind of strains and I got a shortage of breath, also when I was laying down of sitting it felt like something was moving in the upper chest to middle chest(that only occurs rarely now). A few times I've been out partying and I notice after drinking a lot that my body can't handle it the way it could before all this occurred, one time after partying I woke up after a few hours and had a high heart rate.

Other symptoms is shortage of breath, chest feels tight all the time. When I press in the middle of my chest(2nd or 1st) rib on upper ribs it feels like I'm touching some organ that is sensitive possibly the could it be the main aorta? Also I'm just weaker in general when my pulse goes up a lot the body is taking a toll like not before.

I went to a doctor in Sweden where I'm from, I did blood tests a x Ray on my chest also checked my heart, it was all fine, but I know something is wrong here for sure.

Thanks in advance I really appreciate all help.

Mikael

This has just freaked me out. I'm 51 been using an e cig for two years and been suffering with chest pains for three months, just had an ECG all clear and the same with blood tests. Got another appointment to see the doc on Friday. My partner who was also on an e cig had a heart attack at work in September 2015 and died. I'm about to throw my e cigs in the bin right now. This is terrible to think that I said all along he died and had no health issues, no chest pain, no medication and I wondered if it was due to the e cig.

Hi thanks for getting me this information.

I really think you should throw it in the bin, I'm certain this happened because of the e-cig, I'm not sure how bodies work but maybe we're just more sensitive to it I got no clue. Also no doctor has given my a straight answer. I'll keep you posted if a doctor says something that helped, please tell me as well!

      Thanks, take care

I've been googling this a lot and it seems like it could be something called AF(Atrial Fabrilliation) ask your doctor if it could be that. It's possible. I got most of the symptoms

Hiya, I went to my doctor on Friday, she seems to think it could be stress related but is putting me forward for a 24 hour ECG machine just to make sure. My chest pain is more regular and the pressure is not good. I threw away my e cigs last Wednesday, still not 100% if it was them causing the problem. I will keep you informed, take care smile

I just went to a super experienced Chinese medicine doctor(herbalist) I met him through a friend, he checked my pulse and I explained my symptoms, he said I had a hearth problem. He explained to me what was most likely occurring to fhe body and he made a lot of sense. He put me on this herb formula that I've been using now for 4 days and I feel way better, quite a difference. If western medicine doesn't work for you like it didn't for me you should try this.

I have had two ECG's, blood tests, chest  x ray all came back negative. I have however, researched myself and found out and realised that I actually have nothing wrong with my heart whatsoever. However the condition COSTOCHONDRITIS and would you believe the symptoms are similar to those of someone having a heart attack, chest pain, etc etc, it is actually inflammation of the cartilage that joins your ribs to your breastbone, and what a relief of reading other readers symptoms and now knowing what it is makes it a lot easier to understand, so it wasn't the e cig after all. What is the herb medicine that you are taking?Brenda...
