Hi Rabia,
I was placed on Anastrozole for my breast cancer in 2015, and had excruciating bone, joint, and muscle pain, to the point that I could not function. l lasted two weeks. I asked my oncologist to switch. She placed me on Exemestane. My identical twin is on Lectrozole. They are all Aromatase Inhibitors, the same class as the Anastrozole, but don't seem to cause the agonizing pain you and I experience on Anastrozole.
Ask your oncologist to switch, ASAP! I have mild "arthritic" symptoms, but no agonizing symptoms.
Best regards,
Merry Juliana
