Bone scan results, can you help me understand?

I had knee replacement in April 2017.   Dr was able to use my own knee cap.  I have struggled with pain in the middle of my knee radiating in from the out side.   Bone scan was done and uptake in patella and synovium of the joint is abnormal.  Has someone experienced this and please advise.  My gate is unsteady and I am ready to have gliding steps.  Takes me a few steps to get going.

I had bilateral replacements in Mar16. My right kneecap is a problem and my hair and balance are quite weird. I concentrate carefully when I walk. All I can say is get expert advice and second opinion. Some of us don't get a perfect result. xx

I had bilateral knee replacements in March 2017 to begin with everything was going according to plan now the pain especially in the right knee is horrendous.  I have recently been back to see the surgeon and had X-rays done and everything appears fine.  He has made me an appointment for 6 months time when he hopes things will have greatly improved.  I don't regret getting them done it's still better than the arthritic pain I had before.  But please ask for a second opinion if the bone scan is showing an abnormality surely they will have to investigate further.  I hope you get help soon
