i had ankle surgery 7 weeks ago
4 weeks ago i could put about 25% weight on it with crutches
I went to doctor on Wednesday and he said i can walk on boot now and if i wanted to try walking w/o it i could try that as well
I did use my foot a lot yesterday first day if day of some freedom.
today a little sore so resting it
its been a fairly pain free recovery but today im hurting
rest, rest!!!!

Where about on your ankle did you fracture/what bone?

it was the outside bone on left ankle
surgery was for trimalleolar fracture of left lower ankle
7-8 screws in bone and then long screw from one side of my ankle to the other stabilizing it
i can have that long screw removed
started putting full weight on Wednesday and Thursday Yesterday it was pretty sore so I took it easy

yes, that's normal for it to be sore but don't try to over do it.
