Using borax worries me. Why? It is detergent for cleaning. Remember that part of the body was made certain way. Clear warm water and try olive oil all natural . less flares up . wiping easier.

Indeed, it frightens the life out of me! A lot of ladies are saying it's a good thing to use, I think in the end you are willing to try anything !!! X

I have asked this question before but am unclear where I can get borax. The borax on the shopping sites is from what I can see "borax substitute". I think borax is a banned substance in the U.K. 

It would be helpful if someone could clarify the chemical composition of the substance that is used outwith UK so that I could try and get that. I would be keen to try it but want to be certain I am getting the right stuff. Any info appreciated.

I did order some from a soap making company based in Devon. Sorry I can't remember their name.  Im not totally sure it was Borax. They did send me the composition details but that didn't really help me!!. I didn't find it worked brilliantly but saying that Im not completely sure its my LS playing up or something else entirely as I only have the itching bit and thats intermittent.  

best to buy on amazon and filter based on ratings (best rated) and quality. 

I used borax a lot but have reduced to only when I itch now as it is pretty good at stopping the itch right away for me.   I use Borax (Sodium Tetraborate) Decahydrate which is mined by 20 Mule Team.  I got it on ebay.  It didn't reduce the white patches or unfuse anything, but any further fusing stopped.  It is worth a try.
