Hi so I've had my fissure on an off every 4 weeks for the last 4 years yesterday I had Botox and I feel no different not added pain no less pain it's still just painful while using the toilet so my question is does that mean it hasn't worked or when will the Botox kick in? Thanks

Hi I found the botox worked gradually over the first few weeks but it doesn’t reach maximum effect until 4 weeks in so it’s far too early to feel any difference yet, you might start to feel better in a week or so. That was my experience anyway and it was my surgeon that said it’s 4 weeks in when it reaches maximum effect.

Good luck and I hope it works for you smile
