Botox for spastic paralysis

Does botox help in recovery from paralysis? Especially spasticity or creates more stiffness in the long run

    Hi

    My mum developed dystonia which caused spasticity in limbs . Contracted legs and drop feet . She was given Botox in arms & legs to help ease. Which helped for a few months.

      Did the spasticity increase after discontinuation or return to same?
