Bowel leakage

Hi

Like everyone i am looking for a solution to my problem!

I had constipation for the first time in my life about 5 years ago which resulted in bleeding. i then within a week or two had campylobacter food poisoning which went on far longer than it should have and i had diarreah for 5 weeks.

ever since then i have had a clear liquid leaking from my backside that irritates the skin and i need to clean frequently. i have used a plethora of creams and talc but they are just dealing with the symptom not the cause.

dr found some internal hemorrhoids which were banded but have not fixed it. there is also possible some prolapse. however i went for a second opinion and he said the heammoroids are not that bad nor is the prolapse and that surgery would not likely resolve my issue.

i am at my wits end with this as i am only 38 with a young family.

has anyone had the dreaded discharge and actually managed to resolve it?

I suggest you go to a colorectal surgeon and request for a anoscopy to ensure the severity of your internal hems. He can also do a digital rectal examination to see whats going on down there
