I have a couple of lumps in the left side of my neck too! I have had a feacal calprotectin which was greater than 600 and iron studies which showed that my iron is 8 (which is low)my Hb is13 normal. Seen a GI specialist and is sending me for a colonoscopy!  I am really worried about th big C any feedback will be very helpful from anyone who have had these symptoms and especially the elevated calprotectin. Thanks x

Hi, I'm so sorry to hear what you are suffering.

I can't give any feed back to help at the moment as i'm awaiting hosp. appointment to find out myself. But as soon as i am seen i will get back to you with their findings.

This is all new to me as I'd never even heard of inflammatory bowel disease before let alone all it can cause - I'm horrified i didn't know and what it can cause !!!

I don't even understand things like feacal calprotectin or iron study counts - I suppose i will will learning the hard way like everyone else.

    Please take care of yourself.

I'll be back when i know more and thank you for message.
