Bowen Therapy

Some help please.!!!... I was recommended ' Bowen ' therapy which I

would like to try before I invest in a mobile scooter. I have searched and

searched but cannot find any clinic that performs this massage.

I live in SE London, can anyone direct me please ?? Thanks

    Hi Tricia, I've just done a Google search and found a practitioner in Lewisham - 'Bowen London'. If he's not the right area he should be able to direct you to someone more local or a place where you can search for someone yourself. There are a few around. I live in Shropshire and know of 2 so I'm sure you'll find many more where you are. I've had the therapy in the past and found it really helpful. I'm newly diagnosed with PR so just getting into the swing of the steroids and havent used any other therapies yet. I wish you every success in finding and getting your Bowen Therapy. Rose

      Thank you Rose, yes Lewisham is very near. I will contact

      them. I have had PMR since February when diagnosed and the lack of mobility

      is getting me down. This is the second Christmas I've not been able to get out on my own and have a good old Christmas

      shop so upward & onward.

      Do hope it all works out really well for you Tricia. If you can start to get things moving in a direction you're happy with I'm sure you'll start feeling much more positive and your health should start to improve. I'm beginning to realise that with PR state of mind is critical to getting through the illness and into a brighter, healthier future. Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

    It's unlikely to be a clinic, it'll probably be a practitioner working on their own or in a complementary therapy practice.

    Google bowen therapists uk and you will get links to their professional association site which has a "find a therapist" function which works by area and postcode and also bowendirectory (a quick glance shows there is one in Penge for example).

    Before you book, put this in your seach engine and then see if they are a trained and registered practioner.
