Bph at 39, with various symptoms. Could anything else be going on?

Just wanted to check with anyone else who has a confirmed diagnosis of bph, particularly anyone at a you age. Does it cause you difficulty reaching orgasm , ed which is partially relieved when lying on the back, partial loss of sensation to the penis ( testicles and legs normal), occasional pain similar to prostatitis (burning and muscle cramps)? STI's have been ruled out. i am diabetic but this is well controlled and i have normal sensation elsewhere in the body. PSA has been tested three times and has been quoted as low (can't remember the actual figure , might have been 0.4 but cant remember).

The background to this is that i was recently diagnosed with bph via cystoscopy. This was after a lot of messing around, delays and fobbing off by the nhs.

My only concern is that although i have memory of the urinary problems starting a few years back (fair enough -bph fits that), the pain issues and sexual dysfunction started around the time i was doing part time cycle courier work. I'm just concerned that in addition to the bph, there might be an injury in the area, as the problems are very specific. Is there anyone else out there with bph who has these symptoms ?
