BPH, Avodart and Prostate cancer

I've been on Avodart (dutasteride) for about 12 years now for my BPH. Back in 2010 the FDA put out a warning that long term use of dutasteride can result in aggressive prostate cancer but not in non-aggressive forms.

Recently new studies have shown this not to be the case and in fact dutasteride can reduce the risks of all forms of PCa.

Has anyone here had experience with this where they have taken Avodart for their BPH for many years and then developed prostate cancer?

Thanks for your answers.
