BPH Treatment Results

Let's have this thread only record results.

I read this forum daily, lots of good comments and suggestions.  But, because some people post often and some less often, some write lengthy comments, it's difficult to get a picture of the sucess rates of various treatments.

So, please just answer these questions.  No comments on this thread. There is another discussion linked below for discussion of BPH Treatments Results.

    PAE (Dr. Bagla, VIV)

    At 0.5 - 2 months,  A+   (off Flomax/tamsulosin)

    By 3 months, B+

    By 4 months, C

By 6 months, D to F (variable problems very similar to pre-PAE, but still off

         Flomax).

BPH symptoms were then unchanged until  about 9 months (despite antibiotic

         treatment).

,  Then I added daily cranberry capsules on the advice of a friend. This led to

significant improvement in nocturia, daytime frequency and urgency over the

        next 2- 6 weeks.

By 10-12  months:  symptoms have been B to B+ with ongoing high dose cranberry extract, and seem to get worse if I decrease the dose.
