Bradycardia after weaning off Bisoprolol

Hi I am feeling very grateful that I am no longer on Bisoprolol and the withdrawal effects of heart rate all over the place and anxiety etc have stopped.   I had to come off Bisoprolol after being on beta blockers for 23 years due to HBP.   My blood pressure is normal now.  The reason I came off was due to a very slow heart rate.  Which made me very tired and my memory was poor.

Now I can feel my heart rate slowing down again, its quite a pleasant feeling but when it's like that I don't want to do anything.  It isn't too low in the lower 50s when relaxing and the upper 40s when sleeping.   Anyone else had the same?   I can live like this ok but I enjoy being a bit more hyperactive.   Is this just another stage in finding my normal?

We would need to know your HR from some old tests before Beta blockers.

So, if your HR 23 years ago was 70s and now it is 50s, then something changed.

But if your regular resting HR was 50ish even before BBs, then that is just how your heart is programmed and you can't change it.

Do you have some data from 23 years ago?
