Brain aneurysm???

Yesterday, I was working in the backyard when I suddenly my eye sight starts feeling woozy, warping like eyesight it was extremely odd. It got worse and worse until I had to go home and lay down. I fell asleep and woke up to the same symptoms but a new one came along. It was probably the worst headache I have ever had in my life!! Around the base of the right of my skull it was tender and horrible. The eyesight problem went away but the headache did not. I took a 600 Ibuprofen and that minimized/Reduced the pain greatly. The headache lasted from about 11am-8pm . Today I feel great I just feel pressure in the left side of my head, when I cough or do a movement where it requires pressure to be used.  I am not sure if I have a brain aneurysm since the headache was so bad and my vision was very odd and warpy, or if it was just a migraine. I have never had these two symptoms before. I do suffer from GAD but I would just like to hear some thoughts as to what was going on. Thanks a lot.

Hi Alexander it sounds like you had a migraine headache. The vision problems and headache certainly suggest that.My sister and two cousins have all had brain aneurysms so from what you have said you definitely aren't having one..

Hi Alex, you say you have never had these symptoms before, this is what is worrying. I think you should visit A&E or phone Health Direct 111 and seek answers. You might have had a sentinel bleed. I don't want to cause alarm but I'm reactive when people mention those symptoms having had a brain haemorrhage myself. Phone them now. Don't take anymore Ibuprofen as this raises blood pressure. Anyhow it would be handy to see if your headache is still there. Are there anymore symptoms?

Thank you for your reply and no there aren't anymore symptoms, other than I have still have pressure like pain when I sneeze or cough. Other than that I don't have a headache anymore and my vision is fine But the headache while sneezing is a bit bothersome. I feel fine no other neurological symptoms

Also, I am not one to take pills for pain I usually just ride them out and sleep it off, but yesterday I had to take the pill.
