Brain fog and memory problems

I'm 48 and think I'm in peri menopause. Wondered if anyone else was having these types of problems. I often feel like I'm walking around in a bit of a fog and being really forgetful. What's worrying me more however that I've mt a few people recently that I should know and it's taken me a few minutes into the discussion to place them. I have seen them out of context but it's getting a bit embarrassing. Anyone else have this?

Im 47 & have experienced the same problem. I can easily lose my train of thought mid conversation, very absent minded, had all the other peri symptoms. It wasnt until I experienced a 'witnessed' hot flush ,where my face ,ears & neck turned red I put 2 & 2 together.
I have had alot of 'dramas' happening in my life over the last 12 months & put alot of what I had been experiencing down to stress. Since reading & sharing with this forum I totally associate 99.9 percent of my symptoms with peri m. My GP agreed.
