Brain fog, dizziness, vision problems, head pressure, headache PLEASE HELP

Hi everyone!
I don't know where else to go, and was hoping someone could please help me. I'll start off by saying I'm a 23 year old Caucasian female. Going on 5 months now, I have had absolutely debilitating symptoms which have hindered my daily life. I feel these symptoms every moment of every day.
It started with dizziness and a persistent brain fog. I just thought I had a bug, and tried to go on about my life. However, my symptoms have never gone away. This "brain fog" I am talking about is a feeling of complete mental confusion, I have no memory, I cannot concentrate on anything, it feels like there's a dark blanket on my brain clouding all my thoughts. I have extreme disorientation and haziness. I feel like I'm always in a dream like state.
I am constantly dizzy and feel a pulling sensation, as if I'm ready to fall over at any moment. It feels like there's air inside my head, and I'm always very lightheaded. Whenever I try to drive I feel this pulling sensation pulling me down.
Another problem I have is with my vision. I am having very blurred vision and have double vision. Everytime I look at something up close it is extremely blurry and I cannot see at all. My perception on things has completely changed. I feel like everything looks very odd and strange and I don't have the right depth perception. It's like I'm in a horrible dream like state all the time.
I have been having headaches and head pressure as well, and having horrible pains behind my eyes. The pin starts from the back of my head close to my neck and continues up my head and the sides of my temples. My eyes hurt so bad, and it feels like knives are jabbing my eyes. My head also feels extremely heavy all the time.
All these symptoms have been causing me severe anxiety, and I have been having panic attacks from them and feel like I'm dying. It is causing a strange disrespity sensation, where I feel like I'm not even here anymore and there's a detachment from myself and my body. I have had to drop all my classes at college and quit my job because these symptoms make me lay in bed all day long. I have been unable to drive for months and can barely get up to walk around. If anyone could please help me or know anything as a suggestion to try.
I have been to my general doctor, 2 ENTs, 1 neurologist, have had 2 MRIs, a hearing test, VNG, multiple blood tests, and no one knows what is wrong. I can't live like this anymore. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
I just want to say I'm thankful I found this discussion, and I hope that we can all be fixed - I've been having similar symptoms for about 4 months now. I feel constantly dizzy, not exactly as if the room is spinning but as if my brain is too big for my head causing pressure behind my face from the forehead to top teeth. If I push on the bottom of my eyeballs and let go, I feel better for about 2 seconds and then the feeling returns, like I've sunk back under a thick cloud of fog. It feels similar to sinusitis but I have no infection and I can breathe through my nose ok. It feels the same whether I do or don't wear my glasses.
I suffer from severe anxiety so naturally the first doctors I saw put it down to that. They insisted that I don't have a brain tumour (I always worry about the worst case scenario. I wish I didn't). This upset me a bit because I know how my anxiety has made me feel for years now, and this isn't it. I also suffer neck tension but I can normally relieve it with exercises which aren't helping either.
I've had my bloods checked for all sorts bout 8 times and they're all fine. I've had a CT scan on my chest due to chest pain and shortness of breath but they found nothing there either.
I thought that maybe it could be a side effect of one of the meds I'm on - Levothyroxine, Rivaroxaban, Citalopram, Estradiol and Norethisterone and Ventolin. (I feel like an 80 year old woman, not a girl in my 20s). Of course, no clear answers on the docs about that either. Instead I get "here take this and come back in a month if it gets worse". It's exhausting! I've tried one vertigo drug - didn't work. I've just been given Betahistine but I'm reluctant to take it because already feel like a walking pharmacy and I don't feel like they're really trying to address the problem. Plus, I've had vertigo before, and it comes in short spells which make me feel like I can't even stand. This isn't like that.
I've also randomly thrown up about 6 times over the last 4 months, with no link between each time. Once after I'd eaten. Once when I was working. Once in the middle of the night and it actually woke me up! I also have random shooting pains across my head sometimes.
Thank you guys so much for allowing me to relate and not feel like I'm dying. Elise93, did you find any answers?

Adelle,
I was actually going to ask if anyone else on here ever had chest pains. About a week before all this started I got chest pains and shortness of breath pretty often. But I chalked that up to the major weight gain from pregnancy at first. As time went on it got worse. My heart would start pounding and I would just feel crappy (like jittery) for extended periods of time. And I normal tasks would leave my heart beating fast and shortness of breath. When I would lay down it would happen as well. I finally did notice that it would happen after eating bad meals if I ate semi healthy meals it wouldn't be so bad. I went to the dr multiple times and they didn't know why. (Of course) I have wondered if it had anything to do with my other issues. I've felt more unhealthy this past year than I ever have and I'm only 23. I know it didn't have anything to do with my weight because I've lost 40 pounds in the last 4 months and as long as I'm eating healthy and working out my heart doesn't pound and I don't get short of breath. But for example I ate healthy and worked out for those 4 months and didn't experience any of the heart pounding/shortness of breath well the last month I fell off of my diet and it's been happening again really bad it sucks because I thought I was at least over that. And also since this has been happening I noticed that when I get hungry I have to eat because if I don't I don't feel well and my heart rate goes up it's like I have to eat. Like I'm overtaken with hunger. But used to I wasn't like that I would be hungry if I missed a meal but didn't feel like I was dying. I don't know I'm not sure if it's related to my other symptoms. It sounds a lot like anxiety but I just know it's not. I know my body and I get anxiety from not knowing what's going on my eyes and head pressure no way is anxiety or even my heart rate going up I don't feel like is anxiety.
I also get shooting pains in my head sometimes not often but when I do it hurts. Never had that before all of this.

I hope you were able to read all the thread.. some great advice and information from everyone. The more I read these stories.. we all share similar symptoms.. one thing that always catches my attention is the “neck discomfort” most of the people say they have.
At this point the only thing that helps is acupuncture and 2 massages per month..
I have bad weeks when I feel like I’m drunk.. it’s what people call derealization.. and weeks were my symptoms are non existent..
I sometimes have experienced weird sharp pains on my head.. usually when that happens it’s like my left side of my head but random spots.. I’ve had all kinds of brain MRI’s and CT scans... so I don’t let my anxiety take over.
Neurologist also tried telling me I had anxiety and tried putting me on meds but I refused.. my symptoms aren’t caused by “anxiety”.. but here and there’s my symptoms GIVE me anxiety.. lol if that makes sense lol
Wish u luck!

Vanessa hi, I hope your doing better as well thanks for checking in. Please read my above post I just posted minutes ago. (About hormones) also I have suffered with my neck more so the past 2 weeks than usual. Usually it's not so bad it comes and goes. One week the pain isn't so bad than the next week it will worsen.

All doctors say the cavernoma is not responsible for all symptoms I have , since then I am trying to find answers .
I have done MRI, cat scan of brain spine , vng test, eye tests, eeg and now ready for sleep apnea
After 14 months I have learned to live with it . My symptoms are worst when standing , when hungry and the tinnitus makes it worst . When I press back of my head , tinnitus is even more .
and also I have eye floaters and blurred vision too .
