Brain fog, dizziness, vision problems, head pressure, headache PLEASE HELP

Hi everyone!
I don't know where else to go, and was hoping someone could please help me. I'll start off by saying I'm a 23 year old Caucasian female. Going on 5 months now, I have had absolutely debilitating symptoms which have hindered my daily life. I feel these symptoms every moment of every day.
It started with dizziness and a persistent brain fog. I just thought I had a bug, and tried to go on about my life. However, my symptoms have never gone away. This "brain fog" I am talking about is a feeling of complete mental confusion, I have no memory, I cannot concentrate on anything, it feels like there's a dark blanket on my brain clouding all my thoughts. I have extreme disorientation and haziness. I feel like I'm always in a dream like state.
I am constantly dizzy and feel a pulling sensation, as if I'm ready to fall over at any moment. It feels like there's air inside my head, and I'm always very lightheaded. Whenever I try to drive I feel this pulling sensation pulling me down.
Another problem I have is with my vision. I am having very blurred vision and have double vision. Everytime I look at something up close it is extremely blurry and I cannot see at all. My perception on things has completely changed. I feel like everything looks very odd and strange and I don't have the right depth perception. It's like I'm in a horrible dream like state all the time.
I have been having headaches and head pressure as well, and having horrible pains behind my eyes. The pin starts from the back of my head close to my neck and continues up my head and the sides of my temples. My eyes hurt so bad, and it feels like knives are jabbing my eyes. My head also feels extremely heavy all the time.
All these symptoms have been causing me severe anxiety, and I have been having panic attacks from them and feel like I'm dying. It is causing a strange disrespity sensation, where I feel like I'm not even here anymore and there's a detachment from myself and my body. I have had to drop all my classes at college and quit my job because these symptoms make me lay in bed all day long. I have been unable to drive for months and can barely get up to walk around. If anyone could please help me or know anything as a suggestion to try.
I have been to my general doctor, 2 ENTs, 1 neurologist, have had 2 MRIs, a hearing test, VNG, multiple blood tests, and no one knows what is wrong. I can't live like this anymore. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello from China. I am 25 and I have been having same symptoms as you guys have for 3 years now except dizziness and vertigo that kind of thing. But I have all the other problems: fogged brain, weird vision(that's some feeling I can never explain, but I think you guys should know), speaking frights, loss of memory, cognitive problems, and lot of others. My problem came with anxiety right after the outbreak, too. I spent 2 years to get rid of anxiety by using marijuana. But the "root" of the cause is still there. I still can't see clearly, I still don't remember things, I still find it hard live as a normal person. I went to hospitals as often as you guys only to find out that nothing is wrong.
I glanced through the discussion here and it seems like nobody found a "cure" to this, am I right?

Nothing Patrick, some won't hear this but flonase Nasal spray helped me tremendously. I felt all this on top I have Tinnits as well. Still do but rhink about it, allergies cause head pressure, then along with severe pressure put on eyes, ears brain etc. So many of these symptoms arise..the flonase nasal spray seemed to take care of much of these symproms. My ent and gp said floase cuz it's not habit forming. So if any on this site wants ro at least try for a cure do it, but if u think it's too easy of a fix ro be real, then dont..all I can do is tell u what has truly helped me. Everyday. If I skip, the lightheaded and fog returns along with horrible apprehensiveness and anxiety..choice is yrs..what cud it hurt. It's otc. Take care hope it helps u..

Has anyone figured this out? I have all of these too. Some days it feels like I'm going to have a heart attack, stroke or just die. None of my Drs are finding anything. I'm so "sick." I just want to give up. I'm too tired to even type anymore.

Hi, yes I have mostly figured it out. And my changing point was making a diet analysis. I figured out that I am not eating enough healthy carbs, overeating on protein, not getting enough Vitamin D,B12, E, A and Calcium+ Magnesium. So technically my whole diet was out of whack and I was thinking I am eating healthy! I actually did eat very healthy, but not the a balanced variety. Most of the food I chose lacked certain things and this was like a vicious cycle since I started not being able to handle food so I stopped eating more and more)
Plus I wasn't exercising at all and working on my belly muscles and circulation.
I am taking a Vitamin Supplement to make sure I cover the most of the vitamins but most importantly you have to change your diet since the body gets much better nutrients from the food.
Check choosemyplate.gov to get an idea for your daily needs. It's called DRI and the picture that is shown there with the plate will give you an idea how your daily plate should look like!! Everyday!!! Plus you need to drink enough water, or decaffeinated tea.
To put this in a few points:
check your diet so you get enough Carbohydrates (from vegetables) 45-65% of your daily intake
enough healthy fats (salmon is a great source) about 20-35 %
get protein (lean meats) 10%-35%
Make sure you get your Vitamins (especially A, D and B12 ) and Minerals (especially Calcium, Magnesium + trace mineral iron (iron is hard on your stomach from supplements so try to get this from food)
Add up on your water intake (at least 2/3 gallon/ day)
exercise daily (walk 30 minutes)
And if you take a supplement make sure you are not getting too much of each vitamin and mineral. it could be toxic for your body.
Most of them are flushed out with the urine, but the fat-soluble vitamins could be bad.
Do you have any tingling or numbness in your fingers, legs, feet?? That would be a perfect sign that you are Vitamin B12 or Calcium deficient

I will be in a state where I am not mentally worrying about anything and I’ll start getting nausea. I have vision issues almost 24-7. I’m dizzy. And the fatigue is unlike anything I’ve experienced. Does not matter how much or how little sleep. If I do exercise or walk around etc etc. I just feel horrible all the time and brain fog and concentration are impossible. My school doctor has been no help and my dad/mom have suggested a walk in emergency clinic but I’m just worried the doctors won’t even run any tests for me.
Has anyone had their symptoms turn out to be thyroid related? I have been wondering if this is a possibility. Or perhaps hormone imbalances. Or some other immune thing. I just refuse to believe my constant symptoms for months are fully anxiety related. So frustrated and tired.Â

It could be not enough healthy carbs, lipids, proteins, vitamins, minerals or water.Â
I put it all together in the post further up. I hope it helps.

Hi Rachel,
I've posted on this page further up with my symptoms and what I know caused mine, and my suggestion is change your diet, get rid of sugar, refined carbs etc, try and be the healthiest you can be girl. Unfortunately at the moment no one seems to have a definite answer for why this is happening or a cure. But we could get closer to that by finding out what triggered our symptoms.
I'm really interested in what triggered your symptoms. I'm trying to compile some data to see what our similarities are. So please may I ask you if its not too forward, before your symptoms had you suffered from a traumatic experience? Had you been on any medication prior to your symptoms? Within 6 months? Either antibiotics or beta blockers etc or anything really? Did you have an operation before hand?
This is just me and obviously you have to do what's right for you lovely, but I went on medication to treat anxiety and it made my symptoms sooooooo much worse. To the point that I wish I had never ever taken them and I'm still suffering side effects. So please, if you can, try and avoid them. I believe that medication is what has caused our problems in the first place. I hope to hear from you soon xx

Have you looked into IIHWOP? Intracranial hypertension without papilledema. It is not well known by most physicians and is said to be "incredibly rare", which may be debatable considering we may not know the true numbers since it is a more atypical presentation of a disease that normally causes optic nerve swelling. I know of people with IIHWOP and have had some of the symptoms myself and when I read this, that is what I thought of. This may not apply to you at all but I think it is worth looking into if you can find someone who will listen. A lumbar puncture is required to diagnose this.

I was searching for something and spotted your comment from one year ago . How do you feel now? Currently, Im having almost the same symptoms as you had. I also went to see many specialists and had MRI, ear testing, muscle testing, sleep testing, many blood testings.... you name it. But all results came back ok. My brain is cloudy all the time and could not think clearly, I feel spaced out living in a day dream state, I have blurry vision and feel some pressure in my head and behind my eyes....because I also feel dizzy and have fainting feeling I could not drive on highways and busy streets any more....I basically spend the most time on bed. One of the neurologists diagnosed that I have fibromyalgia because my muscles are also weak and sore. But I really don't think so. Fran
