Brain fog, dizziness, vision problems, head pressure, headache PLEASE HELP

Hi everyone!

I don't know where else to go, and was hoping someone could please help me. I'll start off by saying I'm a 23 year old Caucasian female. Going on 5 months now, I have had absolutely debilitating symptoms which have hindered my daily life. I feel these symptoms every moment of every day.

It started with dizziness and a persistent brain fog. I just thought I had a bug, and tried to go on about my life. However, my symptoms have never gone away. This "brain fog" I am talking about is a feeling of complete mental confusion, I have no memory, I cannot concentrate on anything, it feels like there's a dark blanket on my brain clouding all my thoughts. I have extreme disorientation and haziness. I feel like I'm always in a dream like state.

I am constantly dizzy and feel a pulling sensation, as if I'm ready to fall over at any moment. It feels like there's air inside my head, and I'm always very lightheaded. Whenever I try to drive I feel this pulling sensation pulling me down.

Another problem I have is with my vision. I am having very blurred vision and have double vision. Everytime I look at something up close it is extremely blurry and I cannot see at all. My perception on things has completely changed. I feel like everything looks very odd and strange and I don't have the right depth perception. It's like I'm in a horrible dream like state all the time.

I have been having headaches and head pressure as well, and having horrible pains behind my eyes. The pin starts from the back of my head close to my neck and continues up my head and the sides of my temples. My eyes hurt so bad, and it feels like knives are jabbing my eyes. My head also feels extremely heavy all the time.

All these symptoms have been causing me severe anxiety, and I have been having panic attacks from them and feel like I'm dying. It is causing a strange disrespity sensation, where I feel like I'm not even here anymore and there's a detachment from myself and my body. I have had to drop all my classes at college and quit my job because these symptoms make me lay in bed all day long. I have been unable to drive for months and can barely get up to walk around. If anyone could please help me or know anything as a suggestion to try.

I have been to my general doctor, 2 ENTs, 1 neurologist, have had 2 MRIs, a hearing test, VNG, multiple blood tests, and no one knows what is wrong. I can't live like this anymore. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It is Almost certainly Vestibular Migraine (Migraine Associated Vertigo). You need to see an oto- neurologist. Where do you live? If in UK then Dr Surenthian is your man....I was put on NEURONTIN and a year later am so so  much better. I had all your symptoms before. I feel your pain... read the book "Heal your Headache" too. You do NOT have to have a headache to sufferVM . It's your brain stem that's irritated and sending off wrong signals that give you these constant symptoms. You need to calm this down. Start the Migraine diet as well. Find the right doc who will help you.

I have had 80% of your symptoms for almost 2 years now , especially the persistent dream like brain fog , the vision , which in my case is more of a stoned or magic mushroom like vision , the imbalance , the dizziness , the head pressure and this feeling of something strange going on in my nervous system . I have done too many tests . But my question is , have you checked for heavy metals and all the underlying co-infections ( lyme , parasites , mycotoxines etc) . Best is to go see a recognized Healthpractioner or Naturopath and take it from there ! Dont touch any medication before beeing sure what you have , is my advise to you . best of luck !

Hi! I still have all the same symptoms and it's been 11 months now. Yes, I feel like I'm high all the time!!! Like my vision looks like I smoked a lot of weed and am just high 24/7. Have you seen a naturopath? I don't know what to do anymore, I can barely do anything.

A recognized Environmental doctor you should see in my opinion . Make a full hairmineral test , a provocated Urin test for all types of minerals and heavy metalls . If you have heavy metalls you aregoing to embark on a whole new journey ... . Treat your parasites , mold , lyme what ever you may have as well . do some research ! Once you are "clean" and you still experience the same symptoms , get your cervicals checked by a neuro orthopedic and check your B12 ! , even if tests come out normal , thats a big one as well when it comes to feeling stoned ! Again this is just an advise and dont get confused too much by all the different opinions , everyone here is just trying to help , I guess . But See for yourself ! . I am since 5 months now doing chelation for heavymetalls , I had lots of them , especially  Mercury and Lead . I am currently undergoing an anti-parasitic treatment (natural) as well . So I have all these things that could explain my symptoms yet I am also not 100% if they are the cause . So first I get rid of this and then I will see ! Good luck is what you need !! Let me know how it goes ..

Please check to seee if you have a smart meter behind your room. Look up what a smart meter is. That caused me the same exact symtoms you described. I went through hell. Its the radiation from it. If you dont hace a smart meter by your room, mold can cause these symptoms as well. I promise you you are reacting to something in your environment. Look up mold. I was super dizzy from mold. It caused severe brain inflammation and my emotions went numb and it made me super sensitive to radiation. Please look into both. I guarantee you its one or the other.

I do have 2 smart meters below my bedroom.  I live in a townhouse complex, so I was told I can buy shields for them to block the radiation.  I am also going to buy a shield for my Wifi Router and laptop.  I saw some good review on some on Amazon!  My brother is also a natural holistic health practitioner who can probably guide me on what product is good to shield all the radiation.  I hope this helpsl me!  It's been 3 years!

I've lived in the townhouse for 18 years, and started having symptoms after a bout of a cold or virus/sinus 3 years ago in June 2014.  Hmmmmm . .

Hi alyssa may I know how you got rid of your mold problem . I have found a lot of heavy metalls in my body (never had dental amalgams) , but after several chelation therapies I dont see any improvement . I am considering mold as beeing the cause of these symptoms , same as described in the first post here .

I just checked and I do have 2 Smart Meters right below my bedroom on the outside wall of my townhouse complex.  I was told I can get shields for them as well as a shield for my WiFi router inside the home.  Worth a try!

Sounds like intercrainl hypotension IIH. A LP is needed and a optometrist can offen see it at the back of the eyes. It's tow much brain fluid.
