brain fog. does sertraline help?

ive been depressed over missing my mom who died 3 years ago and i also been having brain fog which is horrible im coming up on my 3rd week of sertraline and was just wondering has it helped anyone with brain foggyness?

    I don't know how old you are Tammi but women of a certain age 48+ have the menopause to deal with and the worse symptom of  that is brain fog, but be assured it will get better. Its normal to miss your mom but if you are going through the menopause too, everything will seem worse.

      i know im on different drugs effexor but rational tinking seems to b coming back in the last few days ,im a month on them maybe give them a bit more time, was about to have an attack saturday nite night but was able to calm myself down which is a big ting i tink, maybe if its ur first time on anti depressants like me it might take some time

    hi Tammi, just seen ur post, ive been prescribed sertraline for a few months, maybe upto 6, they took a while to settle in, i've just turned 40, so they may react sooner with yourself,

    whats important you ensure to take them daily and not miss any, as i had trouble focusing when i had not taken them,

    4 days in regurly taking sertraline, just got home, n this is a reminderr to myself i needs to take mine today,

    hope things clear up for you, and ur 2016 becomes bright,

      oh n plus, ensure u tell ur GP ur progression, i often got told off for not taking the sertraline properly,
