Brain fog, feeling tired all the time, head pressure

Hi all, I just want to share my story. I am suffering from brain fog, like I can not absorb infos and forget stuffs easily. I can also feel the head pressure in my head as the day progresses. The only thing that relieve these symptoms is sleeping. Part of my history is that I rode a boat for 9-10hours. I have searched in the internet about Mal de Debarquement syndrome and there are symptoms that fit on me. Its been a month already that i have been experiencong these. I just don’t know what to do now. I’ve been to an ENT and Neurologist. As of now, I am taking the ENT advice that I may have fluid inside my middle ear due to sinusitis. Do you think is this related to sinusitis? Or I am really having a Mal de Debarquement Syndrome or something else?

Hi Poach, There are lots of conditions which  present  with similar symptoms...And as you have known Mal de Debarquement syndrome is a diagnosis of exclusion...In fact, the symptoms you are describing can be seen in Sinusitis also...So If you are not getting better with the current treatment then you can ask to your ENT to further evaluate you, You can always do Sinus CT scan to see the inside of sinuses, If every possible tests don't suggest anything then you can think about alternative diagnosis...As we don't wanna miss any obvious cause which is treatable...I know it is frustrating to wait till we get the accurate diagnosis but that is the normal process, Once you will know what is the exact problem then it will be easier for you to handle it properlybiggrin  Btw feeling of spinning or moving sensations are not very characteristics of sinusitis.

Hi. Thanks for your time. I don’t really spin so this is not vertigo and the swaying and rocking motion of MdDS are not also present with me though it was a boat ride that has happened before all these started. My concern is really about brain fog and easily get tired when Im in self motion. I just don’t know what to do now
