Brain fog from anxiety or depression??

I wrote a discussion about two weeks ago saying that I was experiencing really bad panic attacks which i have noticed have gotten better over time, I rarely experience heart racing at all and I'm a lot more relaxed. It's been two months that since this has happened to me and I haven't felt 100% me yet. However, my brain and vision just seem off. I know and am aware of my surroundings but it's like everything is fuzzy and almost like a daze, and sometimes it gives me headaches for like 20 minutes or so. I don't know if I need to get my vision checked or my thyroid, but to me it almost seems like brain fog because I was laying in bed, crying and depressed for a month with barely any sleep and wasnt eating properly. Will this ever go away? 😦

I have had this exact same feeling from anxiety, it's such a horrible feeling , feels like you are completely zoned out , I always found it very surreal. i use to find it was also really bad when in supermarkets etc
I never really found a way to help this , but I did start taking magnesium tablets (due to pregnancy) and I found this eased my symptoms. dont know if this was actually the reason the brain fog calmed down or it was just a coincidence, and maybe my anxiety just moved into another symptoms (I get many )

I have trouble with brain fog too, normally at work (where I am not happy and tense) the fog slowly moves in and by the end of the day my head literally feels like soup. I notice that with the brain fog comes with head pressure / balance issues and adrenaline rushes in the head. Have had MRI scans and tests nothing is wrong physically - it's down to anxiety / tension - have been suffering this for years .
When at home or relaxed and happier, the brain fog as if by magic eases away. As I sit at my desk typing this I can feel the head pressure and stiff neck building - can I go home yet 😦

my brain fog came out of nowhere... lasted about two weeks and left out of nowhere. what helps me when its happening is acknowledging that its just my body reacting to stress, accepting it, and reassuring myself that it can and will go away. just have to let it run its course or close your eyes if you can. try to remember to "stay present".
