I have been suffering from this for 3 years now... My life has been completely changed. It will last hours at a time. I struggle remembering stuff and feel like I am on cloud 9. I feel useless when this comes about. No one understands... It is the worst feeling. I have tried absolutely everything. My next step is going to Mayo. Things I would recommend checking on... Thyroid Levels, Lyme disease, anxiety, MRI on head. I have seen over 20 different specialists and everything comes back normal. I am thankful, but frustrated. Have you found anything that makes yours symptom worse?

      andrew14681,

Good luck with getting into the Mayo clinic. I was referred there by a health care provider but they would not accept me because all of my test results looked too normal. It was very frustrating.

I wish you the best and hope you find answers.

    Hello zara12344,

Have you been tested for food sensitivities? One way to find out on your own without testing is by doing an elimination diet. Try going for a week gluten free and see if there is a difference. Another common food allergen is dairy. There are a host of things that could cause brain fog but food sensitivities are a good place to start.

I am 21yo and have been struggling with brain fog for 4.5 years. I have seen many doctors and tried many diets. The only thing that really helped was chiropractic adjustments of my atlas bone in my neck.

I am currently seeing a doctor who has helped many people like myself that the mainstream medical community has given up on. His name is l#o#n#n#i#e-h#e#r#m#a#n. You can find him on YouTube.

    Hope this helps
