Brain fog is a sense of "being out of it". Kind of a combination of forgetful, hard to pay attention or follow things. It feels kinda like the mental part of being drugged, like after surgery.
Vertigo is the sensation of the world around you, or you yourself with respect to the surrounding world, spinning. It is like when kids spin themselves around very fast then stop and still feel the rotation.
