My wife had a seizure at 2 in the morning in 1997.  It was a Grand Mall Seizer, then in March at 2 in the morning she had another one.  Then the following September she had another one.  Then on that morning Saturday she was having a shower and I was brushing my teeth and she was stiffening up and I saw she was having a grand mal seizure only now she was awake.  Everything changed at that point.  She went skiing in the Alps when she was 26.  She was skiing on a glacier and fell hitting the back of her head and knocking herself out.  She was by herself and didn't know how long she laid there but it was starting to get dark so she skied down to the pub to get a drink.  The bar tender told her she didn't look well.  About 5 years ago I sent her to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix and they had her off her medicine and she had a grand mal seizure.  They said it emanated from both sides of the brain at the same time from the back of her head.  She's on Lamotragin now but she has been on all the other meds that didn't work well.  Brain injuries can screw you up years later.  Don't wait to see a neurologist.

hi, YES, go get it checked at A&E/ER, take no chances. i've also had a brain bleed, in 2012, my first symptom was a terrible head pain. if i hadn't listemed to my daughter and got it checked out, i wouldn't be here any more. your symptom is probably nothing, but this is your brain you're dealing with here, it's too important to take the risk.
